You Don't Own Them.....

Have you ever heard of a "Mr. Chow" restaurant? No? Me either. These are pricey, upscale places that celebrities frequent, and there are locations in New York, Los Angeles, and London.

Mr. Chow himself, however, is a jerk.

He is currently being sued by some of his Manhattan employees who said that he regularly abused them.

He made one server lie on the floor while he pretended to kick him.

He cuts tips for not having a perfectly starched uniform - not that he bought it, of course, or is paying for the starch. He may also cut the tip if you speak out of turn or don't give him your undivided attention when he speaks.

Chow's response?

The suits are ""specious and without merit...completely frivolous."
(I had no idea what specious meant, so I looked it up...it means: apparently good or right though lacking real merit; superficially pleasing or plausible / pleasing to the eye but deceptive)

The standard that Chow holds his employees is clearly listed on his website and states that he expects them to act as a symphony in which he is the conductor.

So, if he wants to frigging kick you, lie down and take it!

Whining waiters. Can't stand 'em.
